Pika Labs Launches Pika 2.0 with New 'Scene Ingredients' Feature ⚡
Pika Labs has released version 2.0 of its AI video generator, introducing an exciting new feature called "Scene Ingredients."
Details:
This new tool allows users to incorporate their own images of people, objects, clothing, and environments into AI-generated videos.
You can mix and match elements from different sources, enabling unique combinations. For example, users can upload a photo of a person and an object, like a cat, and instruct the AI to create a scene where they interact.
In addition to the new feature, Pika Labs 2.0 comes with improved visual quality and better precision in following text prompts.
Pika Labs announced that its upgraded video generator is now available to everyone, including users in the European Union, in contrast to OpenAI, which cannot offer access to Sora in the EU because of regulatory restrictions.

Elon Musk's Grok AI Gets Faster, Smarter, and Now Cites News Sources
xAI has rolled out a major update to its Grok AI chatbot on X, promising faster responses, better prompt accuracy, and broader language support. The upgrade is available for free to all X users, with premium subscribers enjoying additional perks.
Details:
According to xAI, the chatbot is now three times faster than its previous version while also delivering more accurate and detailed responses.
A key addition is Grok’s ability to cite sources. The chatbot now pulls information from both X posts and external websites, especially legacy media outlets, to provide more reliable answers. Sources are clearly cited alongside responses.
However, xAI has not disclosed whether it compensates publishers for using their content, a practice adopted by some competitors like OpenAI and Perplexity.
Another new feature is the Grok button, designed to help users discover “relevant context, understand real-time events, and dive deeper into trending discussions.”
This looks like a solid upgrade as people await Grok 3. Elon Musk had previously stated that Grok 3 is expected to launch by the end of 2024, claiming that this next iteration will surpass all existing AI models "by every metric."

How to use ChatGPT's new 'Projects' feature
OpenAI is rolling out a feature called "Projects" to ChatGPT. It’s essentially a folder system that lets users organize their chats and files related to a topic in one place. Within a Project, ChatGPT remembers specific instructions and relevant data.
*Note: Projects is available to ChatGPT Plus, Pro, and Teams subscribers, with Enterprise and Edu users gaining access in January. There are plans to extend access to free-tier users in the near future as well.
Go to the ChatGPT website and log in
Projects will appear in the ChatGPT sidebar. To create a new one, click the "Plus" icon, then name the project and set a color for its icon.
To customize:
Click "Add Files" to upload files (e.g., spreadsheets, documents) that ChatGPT can access within the project.
Click on “Add Instructions” to give custom instructions for tailoring ChatGPT’s responses within the project.
You can move existing conversations to a Project and use them as data sources. Simply click the three-dot icon next to a chat, select "Add to project," and choose the project from the dropdown.
Once you are done, you can start a new chat or select any of the chats you added and continue from there.
To delete a project, select the dots next to its name and choose "Delete Project." This will remove all files, conversations, and custom instructions, and they cannot be recovered.
Chats in Projects use GPT-4o, and the model cannot be changed. Projects integrate with ChatGPT’s search and Canvas tools, allowing you to search previous chats for relevant information and use Canvas for drafting documents or organizing ideas visually.
