Apple is reportedly working on a new version of its voice assistant, Siri, powered by advanced large language models (LLMs). This development aims to make Siri more conversational and natural.
Apple's new Siri is expected to fully replace the current interface, offering a more interactive experience similar to OpenAI’s Advanced Voice Mode. This updated Siri will maintain access to personal information and apps, ensuring continuity in user experience.
The anticipated release is set for the spring of 2026. In the meantime, Apple is leveraging third-party AI technologies to enhance its offerings.
