OPENAI

A New Browser to Challenge Google? 🌐

OpenAI is reportedly considering developing its own web browser. This move could set the stage for a showdown with Google, which currently leads the browser and search markets.

Details:

  • OpenAI is exploring the idea of a web browser that integrates its chatbot technology.

  • The company hired two key developers of Google Chrome this year, including Ben Goodger, a founding member of the Chrome team.

  • OpenAI has recently entered the search market with ChatGPT search.

  • Despite these plans, OpenAI is not close to launching a browser yet, according to reports.

While OpenAI's potential entry into the browser market is still in its early stages, it could be the one that finally disrupts Google's dominance.

APPLE

Apple Reportedly Developing Conversational Siri Using LLMs

Apple is reportedly working on a new version of its voice assistant, Siri, powered by advanced large language models (LLMs). This development aims to make Siri more conversational and natural.

Apple's new Siri is expected to fully replace the current interface, offering a more interactive experience similar to OpenAI’s Advanced Voice Mode. This updated Siri will maintain access to personal information and apps, ensuring continuity in user experience.

The anticipated release is set for the spring of 2026. In the meantime, Apple is leveraging third-party AI technologies to enhance its offerings. OpenAI’s ChatGPT will be integrated into Apple Intelligence by December, and discussions with other AI providers like Google and Anthropic are reportedly underway

AI Tutorial

How to create multilingual subtitles using Gemini

  1. Go to the AI Studio platform and sign in.

  2. Choose 'Gemini 1.5 Pro' as your model.

  3. Upload the video you want to work with and use this prompt:

"Analyze this video and provide a precise transcript with timestamps (HH:MM:SS) in [specify language]."

  1. The tool will process the video and provide subtitles in your chosen language.

*Note: Gemini may sometimes fail to provide properly timestamped transcripts on the first request. If that happens, simply repeat the prompt, and it will provide the correct output.
