Open AI Aims to Take on Google with New Web Search Product 🌐
OpenAI is reportedly building a web search product, according to a report from The Information.
Details:
It is unclear whether the search engine would be a standalone product or integrated with ChatGPT.
The technology is said to be based at least partly on Microsoft's Bing search.
This follows Microsoft's attempt to boost its Bing search engine with AI technology.
If accurate, this would position OpenAI in direct competition with Google Search, which currently dominates the search market despite numerous alternative options.

‘Anything in Any Scene’: Inserting Photorealistic Objects into Videos
XPeng Motors has introduced a method for inserting objects into video footage with realism, named "Anything in Any Scene."
Details:
This new AI framework integrates foreign objects seamlessly by closely matching the target video's color, texture, lighting, and other visual attributes.
This method surpasses previous approaches, which often overlook factors such as lighting and realistic object placement.
One current limitation is that, in most cases, you can still discern that the objects are artificial if you look closely.
The team suggests that the framework could provide a cost-effective alternative to real filming in film production, and it could also find applications in fields such as autonomous vehicle training.

Create coloring books in Midjourney
Follow these steps to create both colored and uncolored versions of the same image in Midjourney.
Use this prompt
On the left, a black and white simple children's coloring book illustration featuring a [X] with no shading, with a white background. On the right, the same illustration with color. --ar 2:1 --style raw --sref [see image below] --stylize 250 --v 6Use this image as a style reference
The prompt itself should give satisfactory results but you can set this image as a style reference to make the prompt a lot more consistent.
Replace the ‘X’ for any subject you want
Example: "boy riding a bicycle" will give you this result:
Try the prompt in other AI image generators
If you don’t have access to Midjourney, you can try it out on any other image generator of your choice. The results may vary, but this approach generally works in most cases. Here's an example result from Microsoft Designer's Image Creator:
