Google Introduces New AI Features for Android Devices and Pixel Lineup

At the recent "Made by Google" event, Google showcased its latest advancements in AI technology, focusing on the new multimodal AI assistant Gemini and the latest Pixel devices.

Details:

• Gemini will be deeply integrated into the Android operating system and will be able to perform complex tasks in conjunction with system applications. On the new Pixel smartphones, for example, Gemini can answer questions about YouTube videos or insert AI-generated images into apps.

• Pixel phones got several new AI-powered features.

• Google also unveiled new hardware, including the Pixel 9 smartphones with improved camera AI, Pixel Buds Pro 2 with stronger noise reduction, and Pixel Watch 3 with new AI capabilities to analyze running technique.

With this new AI assistant, Google takes the lead over Apple, which is still working on its improved Siri assistant, expected to be released in 2025.
