Microsoft introduces new autonomous AI agents 🤖
Microsoft has announced 10 new AI agents for its Dynamics 365 applications, designed to autonomously handle tasks in sales, service, finance, and supply chain operations.
Details:
The new AI agents can independently manage various business tasks, aiming to streamline operations and improve productivity
Microsoft claims that agents can help companies save up to $50 million annually or provide the equivalent value of "adding 187 full-time employees" through the automation of business processes.
Microsoft said it will release a public preview next month for users to create autonomous agents using Copilot Studio.
This announcement comes just before Salesforce's release of similar technology planned for October 25, intensifying the competition between the companies.

Elon Musk's AI Startup Launches an API
Elon Musk's AI company, xAI, has launched a new API, allowing developers to create applications using its Grok language models.
Details:
xAI's new API lets developers access Grok-2 and Grok-2 mini, the latest language models from xAI, which include features for generating images using Black Forest Labs’ Flux.1 diffusion model
To use the API, developers need to sign up through the xAI Console, onboard their teams, and set up billing
The pricing of xAI API is $5 per million input tokens (token, approximately equivalent to 0.75 million words), and $15 per million output tokens.
This launch positions xAI to compete directly with OpenAI and other major players that also offer an API for developers.

How to Customize the AI Podcasts
Google just added a new customization tool for AI podcasts in its NotebookLM software, allowing users to enter prompts to personalize the output.
Go to the NotebookLM website and start a new notebook.
Add any source documents for the audio output—these can be anything, from files on your computer to YouTube links.
Click on the “Notebook Guide”
You’ll see the new "Customize" option next to "Generate."
Choose "Customize" and add your prompt for how you’d like the AI podcast to turn out. Then click on Generate and wait a few minutes.
Tip: You can generate the Audio Overview without changes, and while listening, write down any questions or topics you'd like expanded. Use those notes to create prompts for NotebookLM and regenerate the AI podcast.
