FABLE

Fable's Showrunner Brings User-Created TV Shows to Life 🤯

Fable is launching Showrunner, a platform that allows users to create their own AI-generated TV shows simply by writing prompts.

Details:

  • The platform is powered by a Simulation of Sim Francisco, which uses Fable’s AI model SHOW-1.

  • Showrunner allows users to generate full TV episodes, including AI-generated dialogue, voice acting, editing, consistent characters, and story development, from a simple 10-15 word prompt.

  • Users can create episodes ranging from 2 to 16 minutes in length.

  • Both casual users and entertainment professionals can contribute to the platform, with opportunities for revenue sharing and IMDB credits for successful user-generated content.

  • The platform is currently open to a limited number of users, with a waiting list of 50,000 creators. You can go to showrunner.xyz to join the alpha test.

Fable has already announced 10 TV shows made with Showrunner and shared the first episode of "Exit Valley," the first AI TV show made by users with Showrunner.

APPLE

Apple Plans to Revamp Siri with Generative AI Technology

Apple is gearing up to supercharge Siri's capabilities with a significant AI update set to arrive with iOS 18 next year, according to a report from Bloomberg. This revamp promises to give users the ability to control specific iPhone app features with their voice.

Details:

  • Siri will gain the ability to analyze on-device activity while turning on Siri-controlled features automatically.

  • At first, users will only be able to use Siri to control features within apps made by Apple, but there are plans to expand this functionality.

  • While Siri will initially process one command at a time, Apple aims to eventually enable the handling of multiple tasks within a single request, such as asking Siri to summarize a recorded meeting and then send it to a contact.

This update matches recent reports indicating that Apple is preparing to overhaul Siri. Further details are expected to be announced at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on June 10th.
