Former Snap AI Head Unveils Higgsfield to Take On OpenAI's Sora 🔥

Alex Mashrabov, the former gen AI lead at Snap, has launched Higgsfield, an AI-powered video creation and editing platform.

Details:

• Powered by a custom text-to-video model, Higgsfield's first app, Diffuse, can generate videos from scratch or using reference images/videos. For example, it can create a video from just a selfie.

• It allows users to insert themselves into AI-generated scenes or have their likeness mimic captured movements

• Higgsfield has raised $8 million to date. The plan is to invest in an advanced video editor for modifying characters and objects, and in training more potent video generation models tailored for social media.

Diffuse is currently free to use, but there are plans to introduce some sort of fee or subscription for premium features in the future.

Stability AI Elevates AI Music Game With Stable Audio 2 🎵

AI startup Stability AI has unveiled Stable Audio 2, a major upgrade to its generative music creation tool that pushes the boundaries of what's possible with AI-generated audio.

Details:

• The new model sets a new benchmark for AI-generated music, being capable of producing coherent music tracks up to 3 minutes long in studio-quality 44.1 kHz stereo.

• A new audio-to-audio feature allows users to upload their own audio files and create fully produced samples

• A style transfer feature has also been added, allowing users to match newly created or uploaded audio files to the desired style of their project.

• The model was trained using data from the AudioSparx music library, artists had the option to opt out of the training.

Stable Audio 2 is available for free on the Stable Audio website. Additionally, you can tune into 'Stable Radio,' a 24/7 live stream on the Stable Audio YouTube channel that features tracks exclusively generated by the AI tool.
