Apple's Vision Pro Goes Viral
Apple's newly released Vision Pro headset has rapidly gone viral online.. Videos showcasing the $3,500 augmented reality device's futuristic capabilities have spread rapidly on social media, achieving millions of views in a short timeframe.
Reactions to the Vision Pro are polarized. Tech enthusiasts praise its ambitious augmented reality features, calling Vision Pro the most innovative Apple product since the original iPhone. However, some people blast the headset's steep price point as absurd for a niche product.
Additionally, a provocative trend has begun involving using the headset in inappropriate public contexts, a recent incident involved a Tesla driver being arrested for improperly wearing the Vision Pro while driving.
The Vision Pro represents Apple's bold step into the frontier of spatial computing. However, it remains to be seen whether the device catches on with mainstream consumers. This is particularly true given the competition from Meta's $999 Quest Pro, which presents a more cost-effective alternative.
