Google has announced a temporary suspension of Gemini's ability to generate images of people. The decision comes as the tech giant aims to address recent issues related to historical inaccuracies in Gemini's outputs.

  • The move is aimed at improving the historical accuracy of Gemini's image outputs as Gemini had been generating incongruous images of historical figures, leading to criticism

  • Examples of inaccurate images have been going viral on X

  • Google promises to re-release an improved version of Gemini soon

Microsoft and Intel just struck a deal that could be worth billions for the chipmaker - and might help put Intel back on top of the semiconductor game.

Details:

  • Intel will produce custom chips designed by Microsoft specifically for Microsoft's use

  • The deal is worth over $15 billion according to Intel

  • The chips will use Intel's 18A process, which is a huge part of Intel's comeback plan

Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger was brought back to aid in revitalizing the company after some rocky years. Landing a marquee client like Microsoft is a major win for Intel as it aims to regain its position as the world's top semiconductor manufacturer.

Yesterday, Adobe launched an AI assistant that can search and summarize PDFs. Here’s how you can get access to it:

  1.  Sign up for a free trial to get access to the tools

  2. Find the AI Assistant in beta

  1. Upload your pdf

The AI assistant will automatically generate a summary

  1. Ask questions

Following that, you can request information or utilize the recommended prompts, and the AI assistant will respond using information from the PDF.

Samsung has announced that it is bringing its Galaxy AI features to a broader range of devices through an upcoming One UL 6.1 update scheduled for late March. The AI capabilities, previously introduced for the Galaxy S24 series, will soon be available on the Galaxy S23 series, S23 FE, Z Fold5, Z Flip5, Tab S9 Ultra, Tab S9+, and Tab S9.

As part of the tenth anniversary of the Disney Accelerator program, Disney is investing in five groundbreaking AI startups, including ElevenLabs, pioneers in synthetic voice creation. The other companies selected are AudioShake, Nuro, PrometheanAI, and StatusPro. Disney is betting big on the transformative power of AI to shape the future of entertainment
