How many data centers do major big tech companies have?
Cloud computing giants like Microsoft and Amazon operate hundreds of data centers to meet the growing needs of their customers.
However, the number of data centers alone doesn't necessarily indicate their overall capacity, as there is no universal standard for the size of a data center.

Elon Musk Withdraws Lawsuit Against OpenAI
Elon Musk has withdrawn his lawsuit against OpenAI and its CEO, Sam Altman. The lawsuit accused the company of breaching a contract and deviating from its mission of creating AI technology for the benefit of humanity.
Details:
Musk filed the lawsuit in a California state court in February, alleging that OpenAI breached an agreement to operate as a nonprofit and maintain its technology as open-source.
OpenAI swiftly denied Musk's claims, stating that the billionaire wanted "absolute control" over the company by merging it with Tesla, and asserting there was "no agreement at all" with Musk.
Musk's decision to withdraw the lawsuit comes just a day before a scheduled hearing, where the judge would have reviewed OpenAI's request to dismiss the case.
No specific reason was cited by Musk's lawyers for the request to drop the lawsuit.
The case was dismissed without prejudice, allowing Musk to refile it in the future. Despite this, the feud has only intensified, with Musk criticizing Apple's new partnership with OpenAI earlier this week and threatening to ban Apple devices at his companies.

APPLE
Tim Cook Addresses AI Hallucination Concerns
CEO Tim Cook addressed the potential issue of AI hallucinations head-on in an interview with The Washington Post. While expressing confidence in Apple's efforts to mitigate such problems, Cook admitted he would “never claim” that its new Apple Intelligence system won’t generate false or misleading information with 100 percent confidence.
He affirmed that Apple has done everything possible and deeply considered the technology's readiness for the areas where it will be used.
Cook also claimed they decided to partner with OpenAI because of their focus on privacy and their superior model. However, he left open the possibility of collaborating with other AI providers, saying, "We're integrating with other people as well."
We’ve seen companies like Google struggle with AI hallucinations, resulting in some hilarious but heavily criticized outcomes for the brand. It remains to be seen if this will become a significant issue for Apple too.
