ElevenLabs Adds AI Voice of Celebs to New Reader App ⭐

ElevenLabs, a leader in AI audio technology, has just launched a new feature for its Reader app which allows users to listen to digital texts voiced by late Hollywood celebrities.

Details:

• The feature, called Iconic Voices resurrects some iconic voices from the past to create an entirely new experience. The cloned voices are impressively accurate and can be used anywhere in the app.

• The first round of voices available includes Judy Garland, James Dean, Burt Reynolds, and Sir Laurence Olivier, all fully licensed and created in partnership with the actors' estates.

• "It's exciting to see our mother's voice available to the countless millions of people who love her," said Liza Minnelli, daughter of Judy Garland and representative of the Garland Estate.

• ElevenLabs says they hope to 'bring more great talent to the platform soon,' with more celebrated AI voices set to launch in the coming months.

Currently, the app is available only for iPhone users in the U.S. and UK, with plans for an Android version and broader international availability in the future.

Meta’s New Text-to-3D Generator Creates 3D Models in Seconds

Meta's research division has introduced the Meta 3D Gen platform, a state-of-the-art text-to-3D asset generator. This tool promises to revolutionize 3D modeling by producing high-quality geometry and texture in record time.

• Meta 3D Gen generates 3D assets with high-resolution textures and material maps in under a minute, significantly faster and superior to previous state-of-the-art solutions.

• The platform integrates two foundational generative models, AssetGen and TextureGen, focusing on the relative strengths of each.
