DEEPSEEK

DeepSeek Overtakes ChatGPT To Become Number 1 On The iOS App Store 🤯

DeepSeek has claimed the number one position on Apple's App Store free charts in the US and several other countries. The Chinese model has garnered significant attention for its ability to match or exceed the performance of leading AI models like ChatGPT, while requiring only a fraction of the development cost.

Details:

  • DeepSeek matches or surpasses the performance of leading AI models while being 20 to 50 times cheaper to use.

  • DeepSeek’s R1 model was trained using far fewer resources—$5.6 million and 2,048 Nvidia H800 chips—while OpenAI and Google have spent billions on similar-sized models.

  • Investor Marc Andreessen called DeepSeek "one of the most amazing and impressive breakthroughs" and also praised DeepSeek’s open-source approach, which allows developers to freely inspect and build upon its technology.

  • It is challenging the belief that cutting-edge AI requires massive investments, suggesting that more efficient AI models can be created with limited computing resources.

While the rise of DeepSeek has been met with some positivity for its potential to benefit the entire AI industry, it has also raised concerns about the effectiveness of the chip export ban on China, fears about political censorship in the Chinese chatbot, and even claims that the company is faking its low price.

Zuckerberg Sets $60 Billion AI Investment Plan for Meta in 2025

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has revealed the company’s plans to invest up to $65 billion in AI infrastructure next year. He outlined Meta’s vision to dominate the AI space, from massive datacenters to advanced AI assistants serving over a billion users.

Details:

  • Meta plans to spend $60–$65 billion in capital expenditures in 2025, much of it focused on AI.

  • Zuckerberg announced the construction of a datacenter so large it could "cover a significant part of Manhattan" and plans to end the year with over 1.3 million GPUs powering Meta’s AI efforts.

  • He also claimed that Meta is developing an AI assistant it hopes will serve over 1 billion users, while also building an AI engineer to accelerate the company's R&D efforts.

  • Meta shares closed at $647.49 on Friday, a new all-time high after the announcement.

Zuckerberg calls 2025 a “defining year for AI,” and Meta seems ready to continue pouring billions of dollars into AI to bolster the company's position against rivals OpenAI and Google in the race to dominate the technology.

  3. Write a detailed description of what you want to happen next to guide the AI's video generation, and then generate your video.

  4. Combine your original video with the AI-generated sequence using video editing software like CapCut.
