ChatGPT's Advanced Voice Mode is Starting to Rollout 🗣
OpenAI has started rolling out the new advanced voice mode for ChatGPT to a select group of ChatGPT Plus subscribers.
Details:
This feature, initially showcased at the GPT-4o launch event in May, faced delays due to safety concerns.
It will be accessible to a small number of ChatGPT Plus subscribers for now, with plans to make it available to everyone by fall 2024.
The new mode is noticeably more capable than ChatGPT’s current voice mode. It enables real-time voice interaction, allowing users to interrupt responses, receive audio outputs with different emotive styles such as singing, and enjoy more natural and intelligent conversational experiences.
The Sky voice, which caused controversy for its resemblance to Scarlett Johansson's voice in the movie 'Her,' will not be available.
