Exciting new research shows promise for using AI to track brain signals linked to recovery from severe depression. This could revolutionize how depression is treated with therapies like deep brain stimulation (DBS).

• Researchers developed a DBS device implanted in the brain that can both stimulate and record brain activity. They tested it on 10 people with treatment-resistant depression.
