Despite OpenAI’s safety guards, users have discovered DALL-E 3 can generate detailed images of copyrighted characters like Mario and SpongeBob simply by describing them without using trademarked names. Simple prompts like an “animated sponge” and “video game Italian” can produce near-perfect renditions.
