Immersive Broadcasting:
A collaboration between Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS), Intel, and Alibaba uses AI for enhanced multi-camera replays, 3D models, and motion tracking, giving viewers detailed insights into the events.
AI creates digital replicas of Olympic venues, helping organizers plan and manage events more efficiently by simulating different scenarios.

OpenAI has announced the testing of "SearchGPT," an AI-powered search engine prototype designed to deliver fast, up-to-date answers while citing its sources.
Details:
SearchGPT will first be available to a select group of users and publishers to collect feedback.
The engine provides direct responses to queries, complete with explicit links to relevant sources.
Users can ask follow-up questions, with the system maintaining context from previous interactions.
The most successful features from SearchGPT will be incorporated into ChatGPT over time.
Users can sign up for a waiting list to test the service.

You can make a game using ChatGPT in less than 5 minutes without any coding knowledge.
Go to Grimoire GPT, a GPT specialized in programming and coding.
Check the Readme (Optional)
Read the README by entering 'R.' You’ll find useful information and shortcuts, like using W, A, S, and D for easier navigation.
Create the prompt
Simply ask GPT to create your game idea. For example, "Can you make a ping pong game that I can run in my browser?"
GPT will then generate the optimal HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code to start the process.
Make additional changes
Once ChatGPT has generated the code, it will prompt you with some questions regarding how you’d like to proceed. This is the stage where you might find areas for improvement in the code or seek further clarification. You might want to incorporate sound effects or make adjustments to refine the overall gaming experience.
Note: In some cases, ChatGPT will not deliver these questions. In that case, you can simply ask: what are the possible next steps?
Test the game
Occasionally, ChatGPT may provide a downloadable link to play the game in your browser. Otherwise, you'll need to request a single HTML file by asking: “Please put all the code inside one HTML file and give a downloadable link for me to test the game”. ChatGPT will supply a link to the HTML file, allowing you to test the game and identify any potential bugs or areas for improvement.
Deploy your game on a website or even your own website.
Use the following prompt, “The game is now finished. Could you connect it with Netlify?” Grimoire will attempt to connect with a Netlify app so you can access the game in your browser. Allow this connection, and ChatGPT will then provide a downloadable link to play the game you just made in a Netlify app.
The game will be available for 1 hour. If you're satisfied with the game, you can claim the URL to keep it accessible indefinitely. Just create a Netlify account, and you're set.

Meta is now letting people in the US create AI versions of themselves on Instagram and the web with AI Studio. This tool allows creators to use AI profiles to communicate with their followers on their behalf.
Today, Runway announced that their new AI video model, which was unveiled in mid-June 2024, now also accepts still images as prompts.
Canva has acquired Leonardo.ai, a generative AI content and research startup, to expand its AI tech stack. The financial terms were not disclosed, but all 120 employees, including the executive team, will join Canva.
Apple Intelligence's debut has been postponed to October, missing its initial launch target due to bug fixes. The rollout will even lack features such as the revamped Siri, which will not be available until 2025.
