Adobe Introduces the Firefly AI Video Model and New AI-Powered Features in Photoshop

At the MAX conference, Adobe introduced new AI features, including a text-to-video model named Firefly and upgraded tools for Photoshop.

Details:

• The Firefly Video model allows users to generate videos or modify existing footage using text and image prompts that specify aspects such as camera settings, lighting, colors, and mood

• Generative Extend in Premiere Pro is another new feature that adds two seconds to footage at either 720p or 1080p at 24 fps.

• Adobe also announced several new AI-powered features for Photoshop: Remove, Generative Fill, Generative Expand, Generate Similar, and Generate Background.

These new AI features are now accessible in Photoshop, Photoshop Beta, and Photoshop on the web. Users interested in the Firefly video model can sign up for a waiting list.

In a recent essay, Dario Amodei, CEO of Anthropic, shares his thoughts on the future of advanced AI, suggesting that a system as capable as AGI might emerge by 2026.

Details:

• While Amodei acknowledges the possibility of AGI by 2026, he stresses the uncertainty of this prediction, indicating it could take much longer.

• Amodei envisions AI driving major advancements in fields like medicine and poverty alleviation.

• He claims people need to be careful about overhyping it, yet he remains optimistic that AI could lead us to a future without disease and a doubled life expectancy.

• He highlights the importance of recognizing both the opportunities and the potential dangers of advanced AI systems.

Anthropic is currently seeking new investors for a funding round worth up to $40 billion to try and stay competitive with rivals.

How To Use AI Lip Sync on Kling AI

1. Go to the Kling AI website and sign up to receive daily free credits.

2. Click on the "AI Videos" option.

3. Choose "Image to Video" and generate a video. In the prompt, you could enter something like "the woman is speaking." Make sure the image you are using fits the context.

4. Once your video is generated, click on “Lip Sync” and upload your audio. You can either generate a voiceover using ElevenLabs or use a real voice recording. Then, select "Lip Sync" again and wait a few minutes.

5. Kling will perfectly sync the sound to the video, animating the mouth to match the words in the audio, whether the character is speaking or singing.

*Note: Lip syncing a ten-second video costs 10 credits, and you can only sync up to ten seconds at a time.
